What a great week in fact it has been an awesome week! God has been in the house as they say. I have to start out with saying I’m going to Nashville, Tennessee next week to meet our new spokesperson for “Wear iT Wednesday”. Drum roll please……. it’s B Haley , the drummer for Toby Mac’s band! We are so excited!
I was on a call with him yesterday and even over the phone I got chill bumps just talking to him about how the Lord helped him. He is so pumped by Jesus, that it really is infectious. He shared with me that he had a stutter when he was little and I told him about my learning disability. We both laughed about our ADD and how everyone around us knows when we just aren’t focused. He now goes out to schools and talks about overcoming challenges. This guy is the real thing. He totally gets the whole “Wear iT Wednesday” movement and feels exactly the way I do about it being something that helps kids express who they are.
Wear iT Wednesday is just such a fun, fresh way to make Christianity more relevant. Clothing is the only media that kids have especially in school. It tells everyone who and what they are. Just imagine when over 1,000,000 kids wearing their favorite Christian shirt every Wednesday--what testimonies will be shared, how kids will treat each other. As B. Haley told me on the phone yesterday his vision is “changing lives one tee shirt at a time”. I know it may sound silly but let me tell you what you wear means a great deal to that person.
Guys this is such a blessing that all this is happening. I’ll update you as soon as I get back from Nashville.
Keep us in your prayers that God will help spread the word of our movement and that others see our vision -which is to honor and glorify Him!

It started with a little boy named Zachariah who left our world when he was only four-years old. Zachariah's family came to understand what it was like to be labeled as the family with the sick/disabled child. No one meant any harm by this. It just that no one had shared with them a better more loving way.
When Zachariah left to go home to our Lord his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Glover became passionate about doing something to help others understand how to minister to the disabled and their families especially within our churches. And guys--they went BIG, they went NATIONALLY. We love it when people want to truly make a change.
The goal of P.U.R.E ministries is to help churches minister to those families of the disabled whether it is physical, psychological or learning disabilities. Their purpose is to create a knowledge base within the church that allows the young people to reach out to those with disabilities and treat them as we ourselves want to be treated.
You know what I mean, when you are in church and you see the little boy with autism with his parents. His family wants you to see them Mom, Dad and Adam--not the family who has a boy with Autism--"NO LABELS"! Not hard right? We just hadn't thought of it in that way or from their perspective.
One in five people have a disability, 25% to 30% of people have someone in their immediate family with some sort of disability. Someone with a disability has affected most of us, directly or indirectly. So, you see it is a huge opportunity for awareness for all of us. Jesus always wanted to be with the sick and those who were in need knew they were full of His grace. Just imagine the grace we will help others feel when we take the time to get to know them for who they are and not for their “label”.
Please check out www.pureministry.com and let your minister and youth pastor know about this wonderful ministry. The Glover’s will talk to anyone and I do mean anyone. It can be one person or 4,000 people. These wonderful grandparents want to change our world.
Hey, I hope you guys look good in your shirts today. Take some pic's and send them in to www.wearitwedneday.com.

Hi Everyone, I just saw that Chad Eastham who is part of the Revolve Tour has a "Where are you Wednesday"--he wants you to post pic's of yourself on the Revolve website. Crazy Right!!! Wednesday is such a great day to invite friends to your church for the evening meetings. If your church doesn't do anything see if a friends' church has something or Hey, start a Bible class in your home. We love Wednesday's!
We always want to talk about a ministry on Wednesday's blog but as we get close to Thanksgiving it seems we should think of those who aren't as fortunate as us. If you are not already signed up to volunteer at a mission kitchen or giving out meals, maybe you can go visit a retirement home. There so many wonderful older people who don't have family visiting them and they would love to see some young kids around so show them some love.
I am thankful for the grace that God provides me each day even when it gets hard. When I feel overwhelmed and feel that no one is listening I take a moment to remember God's grace and that he is happy when anyone thinks of him.

By wearing your favorite Christian shirt on Wednesday you are really taking on a personal challenge. You have taken a stand, you want to be part of this movement as Christians reach out to others. However, there is also something that you can be part of on Wednesday's and every other day. That is to stand up for someone who is being bullied. I know I talked about bullying in my last blog, but this is just such a disturbing issue. Jesus asks us to love our neighbor which means we really do have to STOP the bullies and bullying. No one should feel so bad and scared that they want to hurt themselves. It only takes one person standing up to help those being bullied. YOU can be that person, Not only will you help someone but you will be showing you faith through you actions. YOU are that person who knows and understands the love of our Lord.

The news all week has been about kids who have committed suicide because they were being bullied. Think about that, being bullied so much that you felt you had to kill yourself. I can't imagine but it makes me incredibly sad to think that a young person would feel so alone that this is their only option.
Remember the "Fruits of the Spirit" which is just all about Love and kindness. As I was thinking about Wear iT Wednesday and "Fruits of the Spirit", it became clear to me that when we all come together as a community on Wednesday we have a great opportunity to be kind to everyone and show the Love of the Lord. We are not alone when we have our Lord beside us and we shouldn't be unkind to anyone when we have the Lord beside us.
We all have a responsibility to treat each other with respect and to come to the rescue of those who need help. This is the message throughout the Bible, Jesus was always helping those who everyone looked down upon. He went out of His way to help them which is such a great example to all of us.
Please pray for those families who have lost someone and try be kind to someone today.

Wow! Things have been crazy since I graduated from college. It's funny though, I was so excited to move on with my life and then all of a suddent my first week home I got totally scared. I told my mom that I didn't want to grow up!
I went to my daily devotional and read one entire month's worth of devotions in one week! AAAHHH, my drug of choice, the Lord's Word! But really, it does help so much to know that you will be ok, things will work out. You do have to work hard but God is there beside you.
Wear iT Wednesday is gaining momentum each and every day. It is great to see young people take on a fun movement and challenge their friends to join. Susie Magazine even featured a story on Wear iT Wednesday with a two-page spread in the September issue. We are very excited and blessed!
Keep those sign-ups coming and remember to tell your friends!

Hi All, I have come to love Wednesdays. I used to think of them as the bridge day to the weekend and now I think of Wednesday's as my day to show
everyone how excited I am about my faith. As my friends always say "We is cool Christian's".
We keep getting great emails from wonderful ministries and we deceided to highlight one ministry every Wednesday. Mission Arlington in Texas is the first ministry to be highlighted. It is one of those wonderful homegrown
ministries started by Tillie Burgin 24 years ago. Tillie had been given a vision to help those in the local community not only by giving them much needed assistance but also sharing the love of the Lord. Knowing God is
not just about hearing his word but also by seeing work in action. Mission Arlington is reaching out to young people in their community. Every Sunday at over 300 locations in the city, volunteers share the Lord's word and 800 people go through Mission Arlington's doors six days a week. Doesn't that blow you away. Can you imagine how each of us can help this ministry and also those ministries around your own town?
Please visit www.missionarlington.org to be inspired.
Keep sending in those pic's of you in your tee's and sharing your stories of witness!

Things are crazy great and everyone is working overtime to get the word out about Wear iT Wednesday. Please remember that you need to register to be counted towards the 1,000,000 goal and let everyone of your friends know about this grassroots movement.

Wow! And they say kids my age don't believe in anything. Well, let me tell you--I am overwhelmed by the AWESOME emails we have been getting. The testimonies are so inspiring and the love for the Lord is just really overwhelming. It makes me so happy to know that there are so many of us who have been blessed by having a relationship with Christ.
On a completely different note, we love the really fun t-shirts people have been emailing us about. These shirts are surely spreading the joy of Christ! One person emailed us about a Twilight themed shirt. She as able to witness the the check-out person in a store!
Please, please keep telling your friends about Wear iT Wednesday and get us to the 1,000,000 goal. Send us your pic's - we would love to post them.

This is a very personal blog but I wanted everyone to know how much God has helped me. I am graduating from college this Sunday and have been struggling with feeling so sad because my Dad won't be there. I know he is looking down from heaven but I just miss him so much. I also miss all of my grandparents and my Uncle Rusty. My Mom has really been working hard on making sure that I have a great graduation and my Aunt Karen was coming for the big day. Well, my Mom just told me that my Aunt Karen has to have heart surgery and can't make it. That news has really been tough to take but this is where my love of the Lord has helped me once again. I keep going to that place of understanding that God will help my family through this. God just doesn't do these crazy things to us, He helps us through these crazy times. He is the one that you should praise when things are just overwhelming. He has been that Father for me over the past four years that I counted on in so many ways. Once again He is there for me and my family. I can reach out and pray for my Aunt Karen and feel at peace.
I was told that life is bitter sweet and I totally understand that but let me tell you the sweet is the understanding that God is there to help you and hold your heart.
Please pray for my Aunt Karen and anyone who is sick.
Luv
